A Transformative Vision for Malaysian Hospitality - Since its founding in 2018 by Dr. S. Sri Kumar, the DHS Outreach Program has pioneered a revolutionary approach to workforce development in Malaysia's hospitality sector. More than just a training initiative, we are a social empowerment movement dedicated to creating equal opportunities for Malaysia's underprivileged communities while elevating the nation's hospitality standards. 

Program Objective

• To provide accessible education and training in hospitality.

• To foster entrepreneurial skills among participants.

• To create job opportunities and career pathways in the hospitality industry.

• To uplift marginalized communities by equipping them with the tools to achieve financial independence and professional success.

• Key Features of the Program:

  • Fully Waived Fees:

  • Program Fees: Completely waived to ensure accessibility for all participants.

  • Registration Fees: No registration costs, removing financial barriers for underprivileged individuals.

• Targeted Support: The program is specifically designed to support marginalized communities, including:

  • Single mothers.

  • The Homeless.

  • Silver Hair Hospitality Center

  • Physically Challenged Hospitality Career Center 

  • Individuals with disabilities.

  • Cancer Survivors

• Programs Offered: Participants can earn certifications in the following areas:

  • Certificate of Completion in Kitchen Steward Operations.

  • Certificate of Completion in Aircraft Interior Cleaning.

  • Certificate in Housekeeping Operations.

  • Certificate in Digital Marketing 

Eligibility Requirements:

1. Nationality & Age:

   • Malaysian citizens aged 17-60 years 

2. Target Beneficiaries:
   Priority given to applicants from underserved communities including:
   ✓ Urban Community individuals seeking rehabilitation
   ✓ Indigenous communities (Orang Asli)

3. Personal Attributes:

   • Demonstrated interest in hospitality/service industries 

   • Commitment to complete the full program duration

   • Willingness to work in team environments

   • Openness to entrepreneurial skill development

4. Special Considerations:

   • No prior qualifications required

   • Basic Malay/English communication skills preferred

   • Physical capability for hospitality work (reasonable accommodations made for PWDs)

Application Process:

1. Submit online application 

2. Attend in-person/virtual assessment interview

3. Provide supporting documents (IC, income verification if applicable)

4. Receive admission decision within 14 working days
